AAH Nursing Grand Rounds Recordings 2024: Measuring Professional Governance Over Time: What Did We Learn?
Advocate Children’s Hospital kicked off a descriptive study aimed at measuring nurse perceptions of Professional Governance in 2019 using an established tool. Survey data has been collected five more times! This session will provide an overview of the study, with findings and lessons learned over time.

This course is intended for Nurses (all levels of preparation)
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Describe professional governance and the key components evaluated by the Index of Professional Nursing Governance (IPNG) tool.
- Discuss the key findings from the study including trends over time
- Identify 1-2 specific implications to apply to their professional practice.
