36th Annual Advocate Heart Institute Cardiology Update

This course provides a comprehensive review of state-of-the-art practices to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions. The faculty ensures attendees are current with recent advances in clinical cardiology and the best ways to take a team approach to incorporate them into daily practice to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, this educational activity provides networking, self-development, leadership, and collaboration opportunities for the physicians and other clinical staff who annually attend.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians, advanced practice registered nurses, nurses, and other interested health professionals.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Increase familiarity with the latest cardiovascular guidelines and their implications for patient care.
  • Develop practical skills for incorporating guidelines into individualized treatment plans for patients with varying risk factors.
  • Implement methods to assess the effectiveness of guideline integration in improving patient outcomes and modify practices based on feedback.
