Forward14th Annual Advanced Heart Failure Symposium
This symposium will provide healthcare professionals with current, evidence-based information on the management of advanced heart failure. Through expert presentations, panel discussions, and case-based learning, participants will gain practical insights into medical and surgical therapies, cardiac transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and patient-centered care strategies aimed at improving outcomes.
This conference is being held in person at Christ Hospital - Stein Auditorium and Virtual via Teams

Target Audience
This conference is designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Apply current evidence-based guidelines and best practices in the management of patients with advanced heart failure.
- Identify clinical characteristics and risk factors that indicate progression to advanced heart failure and warrant referral for advanced heart failure therapies.
- Evaluate factors that contribute to heart failure progression and select appropriate medical, surgical, and device-based treatment options to optimize patient outcomes.

- 5.25 American Board of SurgerySuccessful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery's Continuous Certification program.
