Description: Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) programs are designed to ensure that the benefits of certain high-risk medications outweigh their potential risks. This presentation will review REMS fundamentals and provide updates on medications recently added to or updated within the Advocate Health formulary, including their therapeutic uses, safety considerations, and program requirements. Participants will gain an understanding of teammate responsibilities that support REMS compliance and safe patient care.
