Description: This presentation will review the available literature on the use of intravenous thrombolysis beyond the conventional 4.5-hour treatment window, both in conjunction with mechanical thrombectomy and as a standalone therapy. It will also examine current guideline recommendations and provide a comprehensive overview of acute ischemic stroke, including background, management strategies, and treatment considerations.
