Description: Long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotics are used to treat certain psychiatric conditions. This presentation will focus on recognizing LAI pharmacokinetic properties that influence clinical use, how LAIs compare to their oral counterparts in terms of patient level outcomes, evaluating patient-specific factors that influence selection and initiation of LAIs, and designing treatment plans for patients utilizing LAIs.
