ForwardFollowing the Evidence: Good Samaritan Hospital Symposium 2026
The Good Samaritan Symposium will promote an organizational culture of quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research. Presentations reflect innovative trends in healthcare delivery and ways to use data to guide daily clinical practice. The activity includes a 1-hour oral presentation of 6 podium presentations followed by the viewing of 20 posters. Attendance at the live oral presentation and a review of all 20 posters is required to receive contact hours.
This conference is being held in person.
NOTE: Please note this activity will be presented 1:00pm – 4:00pm CST / 2:00pm - 5:00pm EST
Target Audience
This course is intended for nurses.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Evaluate current quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research initiatives presented during the symposium to identify strategies that enhance patient outcomes, safety, and healthcare delivery across diverse clinical settings.
- Apply knowledge gained from podium and poster presentations to integrate evidence-informed practices and quality improvement principles into professional nursing practice, leadership, and future scholarly projects.
