This course is a LGH site specific critical care course offered to all nurses in the critical care division. This course is a four-part simulation incorporating ICU knowledge to manage and care for critically ill patients and critical care devices.

Target Audience

This course is intended for Critical Care Nurses

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Apply critical thinking skills to work through critical care patient scenarios
  2. Assess the critically ill patient to provide appropriate treatment recommendations
  3. Utilize resources such as PolicyTech and EBSCO to provide evidence-based care​​
