Social media has transformed our lives, ushering in a new era of connectivity and instant information exchange. Viral videos offer significant social benefits but also pose unique ethical challenges. This session will consider the ethical implications (positive and negative) of social media use among nurses.

  1. Describe some of the ethical questions and concerns raised by social media.
  2. Analyze the ethical quandaries presented by social media postings.
  3. Identify one takeaway to guide their responsible and professional use of social media.
