AAH Nursing Grand Rounds Recordings: Advances in Cardiac Invasive Procedure Care
Cardiac invasive procedure care is evolving with many advances to support efficient patient recovery, decreased length of stay, fewer complications, and improved patient satisfaction. This session will feature evidenced-based strategies used in clinical practice and research.

This course is intended for Nurses (all levels of preparation)
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Describe advances in cardiac invasive procedure care including hydration strategies to reduce acute kidney injury, use of radial artery access, and hemostasis techniques to support efficient and effective recovery.
- Discuss results from the Radial Insertion Site (SoftSeal®) Technique (RIST) study and consider potential implications for your practice.
