AAH Nursing Grand Rounds Recordings: Advances in Nasal Tube Securement
A nasal bridle is a feeding tube securement device designed to reduce tube dislodgement, maintain enteral access for nutrition and medication, and reduce aspiration risk and cost when enternal tubes are accidentally dislodged. Advocate Good Samaritan Clinical Nurse Specialists participated in the initial device implementation and will present lessons learned about the ongoing use of bridles in patient care.
