ForwardWound Care Symposium 2026
Advocate Christ Medical Center’s annual Wound Care Symposium brings together healthcare professionals to explore the latest evidence-based practices, innovations, and clinical strategies in wound and ostomy care. Through expert-lead presentations and collaborative learning opportunities, participants gain practical knowledge to enhance patient outcomes and advance excellence in specialty care.

Target Audience
This course is intended for nurses as well as other healthcare professionals interested in wound and ostomy care
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Apply evidence-based wound and ostomy care strategies, including offloading, edema management, and advanced therapies, to improve patient outcomes.
- Recognize clinical, legal, and pathophysiologic factors affecting wound care practice, including documentation and skin failure.

- Registrants cancelling between two weeks and five full business days prior to the first day of the event are "refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a minimum $25 cancellation fee."
- No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received less than five full business days prior to the event.
- No refunds or credit will be given for no-shows.
- No vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund.
