The Evolut PRO + transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a supra-annular, self-expanding nitinol frame with a porcine pericardial tissue valve. The Evolut PRO + system offers the lowest delivery profile, superior hemodynamics, the broadest annular range, and advanced sealing with an external tissue wrap. Evolut Pro + has demonstrated industry leading effective orifice areas (EOAs), thereby: - Lowering risk of severe patient prosthesis mismatch (PPM) and subsequently reducing risk of mortality and heart failure rehospitalizations
- Increases blood flow and minimizing PPM, allowing patients to maintain a higher exercise capacity, helping patients to return to an active life
- Supra-annular self-expanding platform, provides consistent sustained large EOAs with low mean gradients over time, and low rates of structural valve deterioration.
