AAH Nursing Grand Rounds Recordings: Using Mobile Technology to Enhance the Bedside Patient Experience

New electronic portals are available to support patients to view education, review test results, and identify and communicate directly to providers while hospitalized. This quality improvement project was carried out at 4 AAH hospitals with volunteers who reached out to patients/families to help them access and use the portal on their mobile device. Units with engaged patients had higher patient experience ratings. Learn about a program that will be rolling out system-wide by the end of 2023.
