AAH Nursing Grand Rounds Recordings: Using Esketamine for Difficult-to-Treat Depression

Depression is usually treated with oral antidepressant pills. Some people struggle with major depressive disorder (MDD) that does not respond to standard treatment.  These presenters will describe the implementation of an innovative therapy using nasal esketamine, an FDA-approved therapy for difficult-to-treat depression, in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Departments at Christ and Lutheran. They will provide an overview and case examples demonstrating the impact of the therapy on patients’ lives.
