This one-hour educational session will provide a comprehensive review of the current processes and recent updates related to Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE). Participants will gain a clearer understanding of evolving requirements, with a focused discussion on enhancements to the submission process and key functionality updates within the CE Learning Platform. The activity will also highlight practical implications for planners and activity directors, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and supporting more efficient, compliant program development and management.

Overall Objectives:

  1. Analyze and apply current updates to Joint Accreditation and Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) submission requirements, incorporating revised processes and expectations into their planning and submission practices.

This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Advocate Health is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.00 general continuing education credits.
