Overview:
A Needlestick Injury (NSI) can be stressful for any teammate, not just nursing staff. The unknown and months of follow-up testing and preventative medications can be very stressful for those involved and their families. Presented case studies will demonstrate different ways needlesticks occur, the outcome from the event, and plans to prevent additional occurrences.
