Description: Grand Rounds presentation by PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Resident on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) management in the elderly. During this presentation the pathophysiology, cytogenetics, and prognostic factors for patients with AML will be discussed.  Treatment regimens and literature will be reviewed for available options for patients. In addition, clinical pearls applicable to pharmacists will be shared.
