Description: This presentation will relay pertinent information regarding antiplatelet and anticoagulant medications and reversals if and/or when needed. An overview of medication related pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of commonly utilized antiplatelet and anticoagulant medications and reversal agents will also be discussed. Additionally, the presentation will assess appropriateness for antiplatelet and anticoagulant medication reversals while discussing and applying previous and clinical trials related to reversal treatments.
