Objectives: ​​

  • Outline the definition of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and its place amongst the World Health Organization (WHO) clinical classifications of pulmonary hypertension.
  • Recognize current treatment options for PAH and their place in therapy.
  • Evaluate recent literature that support the use of new PAH medications.
  • Recommend new PAH therapies when presented with a patient.
