This presentation will outline current treatment strategies for migraines. This will include a review of migraine pathophysiology, discussion of medication classes used in migraine treatment and will differentiate between acute and preventative migraine treatment options. It will focus on highlighting recent guideline changes and newer medications on the market for treatment of migraines.
