Description: The purpose of this course is to provide Advocate healthcare professionals with up-to-date knowledge of the pathophysiology of recurrent clostridioides difficile infection (rCDI), prevalence of rCDI, and recommended therapies for initial and subsequent rCDI. Additionally, we will be analyzing key clinical trials referenced by the Infectious Disease Society of American and Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (IDSA/SHEA) 2017 and 2021 CDI guidelines, as well as the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2013 and 2021 CDI guidelines
