Will review subsequent line therapy options as well as targeted therapies, factors influencing therapy selection, and treatment sequencing principles to support optimal therapeutic decision‑making across lines of treatment.

Objectives: ​​ 

  1. Evaluate evidence‑based sequencing strategies following progression for HR+/HER2‑ metastatic breast cancer, including subsequent treatment line options and targeted therapies.
  2. Interpret key biomarkers and explain how they inform individualized therapy selection and sequencing decisions.
  3. Identify mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies and assess strategies to overcome or manage resistance in subsequent treatment lines.
  4. Describe practical approaches to optimizing patient care, including toxicity management, drug–drug interaction mitigation, and supportive care considerations when sequencing targeted agents.
