  1. Recall pathogenesis, etiology, risk factors and diagnosis of community acquired pneumonia (CAP)
  2. Differentiate between glucocorticoids versus mineralocorticoids
  3. Recognize the rationale for glucocorticoid use in severe community acquired pneumonia (CAP)
  4. Identify glucocorticoids place in therapy for CAP based on clinical trials and practice recommendations
