The ongoing safety champion training series provides site-based instruction from the safety team regarding the high reliability tools and tactics, foundational safety knowledge, and how to engage their team with learning and culture-building activities.

Overall Objectives:

1. Demonstrate use of human error prevention tools, or the High Reliability Tools and Tactics (HRTT)
2. Describe the AAH HRTTS.
3. Demonstrate peer coaching, especially to the HRTTs.
4. Demonstrate the use of the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) model for improvement.
5. Implement PDSA’s to improve local systems.

Target Audience:  
This activity is designed for nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
