The ongoing safety champion training series provides site-based instruction from the safety team regarding the high reliability tools and tactics, foundational safety knowledge, and how to engage their team with learning and culture-building activities.

Overall Objectives:
- Demonstrate use of human error prevention tools, or the High Reliability Tools and Tactics (HRTT)
- Describe the AAH HRTTS.
- Demonstrate peer coaching, especially to the HRTTs.
- Demonstrate the use of the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) model for improvement.
- Implement PDSA’s to improve local systems.
Target Audience:
This activity is designed for nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
