Overall Objectives:
- Demonstrate use of human error prevention tools, or the High Reliability Tools and Tactics (HRTT).
- Describe the AAH HRTTS.
- Demonstrate peer coaching, especially to the HRTTs.
- Demonstrate the use of the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) model for improvement.
- Implement PDSA’s to improve local systems.
Target Audience: This activity is designed for leaders, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other interested frontline care team members trained as safety champions.
