Overall Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate use of human error prevention tools, or the High Reliability Tools and Tactics (HRTT).
  2. Describe the AAH HRTTS.
  3. Demonstrate peer coaching, especially to the HRTTs.
  4. Demonstrate the use of the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) model for improvement.
  5. Implement PDSA’s to improve local systems.

Target Audience:  This activity is designed for leaders, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other interested frontline care team members trained as safety champions.

Advocate Health designates this live activity for a maximum 0.75 hours of CPE credit for (pharmacists and pharmacy technicians). CPE credit can be claimed on the AAH CE platform within 60 days of activity completion and information will be provided to CPE Monitor.
