Objectives: Participants will be able to:

•Identify patients at risk for experiencing each oncologic emergency.
•Assess the signs and symptoms associated with each oncologic emergency.
•Describe the pathophysiologic processes which cause each oncologic emergency.
•Identify appropriate diagnostic evaluation tests and interventions for treatment of each oncologic emergency.
•Utilize appropriate nursing interventions when caring for patients experiencing each oncologic emergency.

Target Audience:  oncology nurses and oncology nurse leaders.
