Overview:

Oncology Nursing Grand Rounds is a forum for oncology nurses to share clinical expertise and experiences, nursing best practices, and other topics of interest that help improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.

Overall Objectives:

  1. Describe recent advances in hematology/oncology treatments.
  2. Recognize the expanding role of immunotherapy in a variety of cancers.
  3. Explain novel medication mechanisms, including antibody-drug conjugates and bispecific antibodies.
  4. Identify the growing role of artificial intelligence in oncology treatments.
  5. Highlight the role of precision medicine and genomic profiling in oncology care.
  6. Survey the landscape of gene editing tools including CRISPR technology and the potential of gene therapy.
