This education on pediatric oncology is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with the aim of addressing the gap in clinical trial enrollment by enhancing participants' knowledge of available trials and eligibility criteria, fostering multidisciplinary discussions to determine the best treatment plans, and encouraging critical appraisal of treatment approaches.

Overall Objectives:

  1. Recommend current pediatric clinical trials and prescribe when a patient could be eligible for enrollment on specific trial 
  2. Analyze medical literature, arguing, and defending which treatment approach is best for each patient
  3. Apply clinical knowledge to critically appraise other physician's proposed plans and provide helpful feedback
