Overview:
Following the required reading of the chosen journal article, a one-hour in-person discussion regarding the article will be facilitated by the content expert: Woo Chae, MSN, RN, PCCN-K
Nurses have identified barriers to using research in practice that included difficulty understanding research articles and analyzing scholarly literature. Nursing Journal Club intends to highlight current issues in nursing practice as described in the article selected and to provide an opportunity to engage in thoughtful analysis and meaningful discussion surrounding the content of the scholarly article.
Measured Outcomes:
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Identify (1) way to modify their nursing approach based on new knowledge gleaned via reflective discussion of the implications set forth by the selected article.

This activity is designed for Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center registered nurses and healthcare teammates.
