Overall Objectives:

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Identify conditions that should increase suspicion for traumatic injuries. 
  •  Identify the various modalities used to differentiate traumatic conditions. 
  • Cite methods of stabilization and patient management. 
  • Identify possible complications that may occur with traumatic injuries. 
  • Follow up on any issues/concerns identified in previous case reviews. 

Target Audience:  This activity is designed for all physicians participating in the assessment and treatment of trauma patients.
