Penetrating Trauma

1. Identify life-threatening bleeding and penetrating chest injuries. 

2. Demonstrate proper application of a tourniquet for extremity hemorrhage. 

3. Perform effective wound packing with hemostatic or plain gauze. 

4. Apply chest seals to both entry and exit wounds in a sucking chest wound scenario with vented chest seal on top. 

5. Prioritize interventions based on injury type and severity.
