Aurora South Region EMS Program Monthly Training

This will be a didactic education that will include hands-on training and trouble shooting. 

Objectives of the training include: 

• Overview of the LVAD
• Components of the device
• How to assess vital signs 
• How to assess prefusion
• Trouble shooting common complications
• What to do during a cardiac arrest 
• Hands on review of the device along with alarms
