Active Shooter Exercise 2024 - 9/14/2024
The Marinette Special Response Team (SRT) sponsored active shooter integrated threat exercise at UW Marinette on September 14th. Please bring eye protection, water, and your radios. Be familiar with the fireground frequencies on the ICS 217/Page 79 of the EMS MCI plan (fireground black, gray, gold). Safety checks start at 0730, please arrive no later than 0745 for a safety check/pat down to ensure no live weapons or threats enter the training area. Exercise is planned to wrap up around 1630.
Target Audience
All Wisconsin and Michigan Practitioners: EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, CCT Paramedic

This course is approved by the EMS Medical Director for continuing education credit. This service medical director approval ensures credits are accepted by the State of Wisconsin EMS Section and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
This course is not considered pre-approved education by the State of Michigan Bureau of Emergency Preparedness, EMS, and Systems of Care and does not qualify for hourly credit.
