Program Overview:

Continuing ECMO education for ECMO Specialists, RNs & RTs. Every other month...additional... dates TBD. CE to vary based on activity.
  
Overall Objectives:

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
1. Incorporate new and employ existing processes in maintaining an ECMO circuit.
2. Apply competencies in the bedside care of an ECMO patient.
3. Perform troubleshooting of the ECMO circuit during a routine complication or safety event.

 

Target Audience:  These activities are designed for Nurses  and Respiratory Therapists that take care of pediatric ECMO patients in critical care units of Advocate Children's Hospital as ECMO Specialists.

Location: Christ Medical Center Simulation Lab; ECMO classroom TBD based on availability
