The ECMO Specialist class trains Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists to run, manage, and troubleshoot equipment on patients requiring Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation life support.

Overall Objectives:
At the end of this session, learners will be able to Demonstrate & Identify: indications for ECMO, initiate ECMO in an ICU setting, manage ECMO pump and patient, wean ECMO, and discontinue ECMO when indicated.
