Overview:
These lunch and learn sessions are intended for inpatient nurses who care for hemodialysis (HD) patients. Each session is 1.0 CE ANCC contact hours; you do not have to attend both sessions to get credit.
Overall Objective:
After participating in each session, describe the average dialysis patient and their general care needs.
• September topic: general care, disease process, nursing assessment and collaboration
• December topic: Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)
Target Audience: This activity is designed for any inpatient nurse that care for hemodialysis patients.
