Overview:
The goal of this quarterly educational series is to educate physicians and other allied health professionals on evidence-based, up-to-date, and supportive care practices for patients with tic disorders and Tourette Syndrome. Each session focuses on a specific topic including knowledge about tic disorder diagnosis, co-occurring conditions, management of tic disorders, educational advocacy, transition to adulthood, and neuropsychological factors to consider.

Objectives:
- Our learners will review how to identify the presence of various tic disorders and the underlying neural circuitry behind Tourette syndrome
- Our learners will learn about common comorbidities with Tourette syndrome and how these impact the neurocognitive functioning of children
- Our learners will learn how to advocate for their patients with Tourette syndrome through requesting appropriate academic supports in the classroom
