AIMMC Charge Nurse Workshop 2024
Program Overview
AIMMC charge nurse workshop is where charge nurses, both new and experienced, will learn more about the roles and responsibilities of the charge nurse role and resources available to them.
This course is being held in-person and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for Nursing.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
Describe the roles and responsibilities of a charge nurse
Utilize resources within Epic, specifically the Epic Nursing Quality Dashboard and other resources beneficial for the role
Identify one strategy you will take back to your unit/department after the workshop
Recommend strategies for patient relations and service recovery
