This activity will promote evidence-based discussion and learning among critical care nurses to implement their knowledge of tracheostomies and recognize the benefits or disadvantages and signs of patients receiving early tracheostomies in the trauma patient population. 

Objectives: ​​

At the end of this session, learner should be able to distinguish information about emerging diagnostics, technologies, and therapeutics related to critical care nursing practices.
