This activity is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals and aims to advance knowledge of advanced information on available treatments and to improve outcomes for thyroid cancer patients. The TNM cancer staging of these patients is analyzed using the AJCC staging guidelines during discussions. Additionally, the execution of the NCCN and LCI Guidelines for all thyroid cancer patients is examined.

Overall Objectives:

  1. Assess advanced information of available treatments to improve outcomes of the thyroid cancer patients that are presented at the LCI Endocrine Conference.    
  2. Analyze discussion of the TNM cancer staging of thyroid cancer patients with the use of the AJCC staging guidelines    
  3. Examine the execution of the NCCN (& LCI) Guidelines for all thyroid cancer patients that are presented at the LCI Endocrine Conference.
