This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other and healthcare professionals and brings together general surgeons from diverse practice settings to address professional practice gaps and improve surgical quality. By focusing on current practices, outcome variations, and standardizing procedures, the program aims to enhance knowledge and implement best practices. Monthly case reviews will target key areas such as readmissions, mortality, VTE, and surgical site infections, leveraging collaborative discussions to improve patient outcomes.

- Apply learnings from NSQIP Collaborative Discussions to increase process measure utilization for VTE
