This activity focuses on evaluating patient candidacy for hypoglossal nerve stimulator, identifying patients with hypoglossal nerve stimulator implants who are experiencing changes in achieving optimal outcomes, and reviewing titration sleep studies to support ongoing management and success.

Overall Objectives:

  1. Evaluate patient candidacy for hypoglossal nerve stimulation using current evidence-based criteria
  2. Identify clinical indicators of hypoglossal nerve stimulation performance
  3. Enhance interdisciplinary communication to support consistent and coordinated patient care.
  4. Integrate updated clinical guidelines and best practices into management of patients with hypoglossal nerve stimulation devices.
