Topic: Pelvic Pain: How can Physical Therapy Help?
Overview:
This presentation will provide education on the primary contributing factors to pelvic pain, both acute and chronic. We will discuss the conservative treatment approach offered by physical therapy/rehabilitation. Physical therapists are movements specialists who address the musculoskeletal, mechanical, and neurological components of pelvic muscle dysfunction. Pelvic floor physical therapy is a primary provider in multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain management.

- Provide a detailed understanding of what a physical therapy evaluation entails
