Webinar Overview: Listen to how patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) face stigma and interact with health care systems. Receive updates on recent OUD treatments within the emergency department, primary care clinics and telehealth setting, plus how substance use disorder bridge clinics can support patients. Also, get briefed on policy and practice changes surrounding the use of buprenorphine and methadone.
 

Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, the learner should be able to:
• Understand treatment for opioid use disorder available in emergency medicine and primary care clinics.
• Describe recent policy and practices changes surrounding buprenorphine and methadone.
• Assess the role of stigma as a barrier to treatment of patients with opioid use disorder.
