Course Overview: Discuss vascular access for various common procedures in the Cath Lab, closure techniques, devices and possible postop complications and their management.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, the learner should be able to:
•Select the appropriate access approach based on the planned procedure and patient/anatomic considerations
•Apply complication-mitigation techniques to achieve successful access and closure
•Demonstrate closure devices and techniques
•Identify complications and implement initial management and escalation steps
