Overall Objectives: 

  1. Manage and identify complex infectious disease cases.
  2. Apply various preventive strategies to prevent hospital acquired infectious
    diseases.
  3. Improve patient outcomes through better diagnosis and management of
    diseases and complications reviewed as measured by the KRA data.

Target Audience:  All Advocate physicians involved in the treatment of infectious diseases, medical students, nursing, infection control and microbiology staff
