Overview:

ACH Transport Team Lectures are provided by a content expert on the topic including diagnosis and treatment in the transport environment. The live lecture (containing a PowerPoint) is 90 minutes in length and reviews pediatric and neonatal disease processes as well as the assessment and management of these states.   

Objectives:

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Identify indications for conventional mechanical ventilation 
  • Describe modes of ventilation
  • Identify variables needed to achieve optimal oxygenation and ventilation
  • Identify age appropriate and disease appropriate settings
  • Identify steps to troubleshoot commonly seen complications
