Overall Objectives:

  • Review up to date with current medical literature and topics in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Discuss published case reports with attention to the following areas: toxicology, critical care, trauma, electrocardiogram (ECG) review, malpractice
  • Discuss and intersect with elements of ongoing quality improvement efforts in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
  • Improving evidence-based medical practices.

Target Audience:  

This activity is designed for emergency medicine physicians and other interested healthcare professionals.
