Objectives

After presentation, the participants will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose of the new Nursing Professional Practice Model (PPM) and explain how it guides nursing practice, decision-making, and professional development.​
  • Identify the five key attributes of the Professional Practice Model: Values, Well-being, Governance, Professional Growth, and Interprofessional Relationships. ​
  • Explain how each PPM attribute supports high-quality patient care and nursing excellence within the organization.​
  • Identify at least one action that can be taken to incorporate each PPM attribute into their own professional practice.​
